Founder Ariel Veneziano launched Recreation Media with a mission to help create value for its clients by devising and implementing the best possible strategies in sales, marketing, acquisitions, financing and business management. Our specialty is to uncover revenue streams from all available sources, expanding our client’s reach in the global marketplace.

To that effect, Recreation provides its clients with direct access to distribution, handling sales on a diverse slate of quality titles. Recreation’s film division handles the current theatrical feature film slate, while its television division handles episodic content, made-for-TV movies feature film library titles.

In a nutshell, Recreation offers a unique solution for producers, financiers, rights-holders and other media participants looking for expert strategic advice on boosting profits, and impeccable execution for enduring results in a fast-changing environment.

Founder and President

Recreation Media founder Ariel Veneziano has held senior management positions at such leading media companies as Alliance Atlantis Communications, GreeneStreet Films and Icon Productions.

Unsuspectingly, Veneziano found himself handling international distribution on the highest grossing documentary of its time, Michael Moore’s Bowling For Columbine, the highest grossing independent film of all time, Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ, and America’s most watched television show, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.”

Veneziano started his career in the representation business with stints at the Metropolitan Talent Agency, Roundtable Ink and Menemsha Entertainment. He holds a graduate film degree from E.S.R.A. Film School in Paris and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of Geneva.

By the time he was 6 months old, the Boston-born, Italian dual citizen had already taken his first round-the-world trip, sealing his fate as the perpetual globetrotter… Veneziano has lived and worked in Geneva, Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles where Recreation is headquartered.
