Boutique sales outfit Recreation announced that it will be handling the International and domestic sales of Alistair Banks Griffin's Directors' Fortnight (Quinzaine des Realisateurs) entry, "Two Gates of Sleep." The film was executive produced by "Afterschool" director Antonio Campos and Sean Durkin, who has a short in the Directors' Fortnight this year.

Set and shot in Louisiana, the film tells the story of two brothers who work together to honor their mother's final request. The film will premiere at Cannes on May 18.

Ariel Veneziano commented on his relationship with the film in a statement, "We are thrilled to be handling this innovative and beautiful film and to be partnering with such an exciting group of filmmakers. Having been involved with Steve McQueen's 'Hunger' in Cannes two years ago, I have the same feeling for 'Two Gates of Sleep.' I have no doubt that distributors, the media and audiences around the world will be as excited by this work as I am."

Recreation is also selling the following other films at Cannes: Ludi Boeken's "Saviours in the Night;" "Edith Piaf," and Jan Hrebejk's "Kawasaki's Rose."
